The Hills are alive …….. With the sound of an MG Midget

Andy Cutler, one of our LVAD (Left Ventricular Assisted Device) patients decided to show that even when you have the device fitted you can lead a normal life. He laso wanted to raise some money for the Charity

He is the owner of a 39 year old MG MIdget and his passion is driving so he decided to obtain sponsorship and drive it around some of the most famous driving roads and passes in Europe. He managed to raise £2100 for New Start in the Process.

Fundraising in Radcliffe

Our latest fundraising event took place at Radcliffe United Reformed Church. Supporter Jess Williams held a Pasty and Pea Lunch with some delicious home made cakes for dessert. The highlight of the Day was when her Dad made a surprise appearance for a couple of hours from his Hospital Bed. He had only had a double lung transplant 3 weeks ago so it was fantastic for all there to see him looking so well

The event raised a whopping £963.85

A big thank you to Jess and Family for organising.
