It’s that wonderful time of year again, and we’re delighted to invite our patients, families, friends and the wider transplant community to our annual New Start & Transplant Unit Christmas Party.
Following the wonderful memories and fantastic feedback from previous years, we’re looking forward to another unforgettable evening of great food, live music, dancing and festive fun as we come together to celebrate another year with our amazing transplant community.

Our Christmas party is always a very special occasion, and we want as many members of our transplant family as possible to join us.
Whether you've been coming to our Christmas parties for years or this will be your first, you'll be very welcome.
So, gather your friends and family, dust off those dancing shoes and come along for an evening of good food, great entertainment and, most importantly, wonderful company.

In previous years, New Start has subsidised the cost of the Christmas party. This year, we are aiming for ticket sales to cover the cost of the event wherever possible. This allows the donations and funds raised by New Start to continue going directly towards the areas where they are needed most - supporting our patients, their families and the Heart & Lung Transplant Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital.
Every bit of support makes a difference, and we are incredibly grateful for it.Tickets are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

You can also let us know if there are any table preferences and you'd like to sit with friends. 🏨 Stay Over and Make a Night of It
With the party taking place at Worsley Park, staying overnight means you can relax, enjoy the evening with friends and our transplant family, and make the most of the celebrations without having to worry about the journey home.
Rooms are limited, so we recommend booking early.
A special rate has been arranged for guests attending the New Start & Transplant Unit Christmas Party, making it easy to enjoy the evening without worrying about travelling home afterwards.
Friday 27th – Saturday 28th November 2026
🛏️ Special Overnight Rate – £145 per bedroom
The special rate of £145 per bedroom, per night is for two people and includes:
- 🍳 Full English breakfast for two adults
- 🚗 Complimentary hotel parking
- 🏊 Full use of the hotel's leisure facilities
Family bedrooms are also available for an additional £20 supplement. Please contact the hotel directly to enquire about availability.
📌 Booking Your Room
Bedrooms must be booked individually by each guest, using their own name and contact details.
When making your booking, please use the special booking link and discount code provided for the New Start Christmas Party.
Rooms booked using the special rate will be paid for directly at the hotel upon check-in. Card details will be requested when making the reservation to guarantee the booking, but no payment will be taken at the time of booking.
Check-in: From 3.00pm on Friday 27th November
Check-out: By 12.00pm on Saturday 28th November
Please note that early check-in cannot be guaranteed.
Additional rooms are strictly subject to availability and may be charged at a different rate. Room upgrades are also subject to availability and will incur an additional charge.
