A BIG thank you to Megan and Mollie Walker who raised £145 selling their home made cakes at a car boot sale. It was to celebrate their Grandad Bobs new air bags!
1000th Transplant
1000th Transplant
A party took place at Lancashire Cricket Club to celebrate the 1000th Transplant taking place at Wythenshawe Hospital.Over 180 recipients, family, staff and supporters attended. The guest of honour was the 1000th recipient Laurie Pope who received a double lung transplant in April this year.

Team Wythenshawe had its best games ever bringing home 12 Gold, 9 Silver and 4 Bronze. Congratulations to all our competitors. Next years games take place in Newcastle from 30th July to 2nd August so if you are interested in taking part please let the office know.
