The Bungalows

As we are the Regional Transplant Centre, covering such a large geographical area it became apparent that some non – clinical accommodation was needed in close proximity to the Unit. This is available for Relatives to use and Patients who need a bridge between the ward and home

In order to meet this need in 1990, the Charity funded the building of four bungalows in the grounds of the hospital.

In 2015, the Charity funded the complete refurbishment of the Bungalows. As can be seen from the photos we now are able to offer “home from home” accommodation which is completely self- contained.

.There is no charge for the use of the Bungalows, but donations are greatly accepted towards their upkeep.
