Dynamic School Of Dance

A fantastic effort by the students of Dynamic Dance School in Barrow in Furness. They held their Annual Dance show in September and raised a fantastic £1970.44 for us. Simone and Erin Bradbury collected the cheque in memory of their Mum, Lorraine Corrance who sadly passed away earlier in the Year

National Transplant Week

New Start, UHSM staff, recipients and families did their bit last week  in promoting organ donation. They ran promotional stands in the Hospital and ventured out to Handforth Dean shopping centre.Recipient Joyce Herdson was on hand to promote her “Lost Sheep” campaign which encourages people to” loose”  toy sheep that have a label on them promoting organ donation. At the shopping centre over 50 sheep were given out and over 30 people signed the organ donation register.

A big thank you  to Handforth Dean Shopping Centre for allowing us onto the premises and to all the volunteers who helped man the stand.
